Hey all! Here’s just a little fun thing I wanna share: my WORLD RACE BUCKET LIST!!! This isn’t a full on big list because I want to keep all my options free while I’m overseas! Let’s do this.

Lead someone to Christ. I’ve never actually done it before but I have been in the room while it’s happened and it. Is. Powerful.

Ride an elephant. I’ve “ridden” an elephant before as a wee child but that was at a circus years and years ago. So it wasn’t really riding but more like sitting on it in the parking lot.

I want to get better with eating new foods. This one is a little more broad but I am so so so so so bad with trying new foods. Like, it’s outrageous.

Learn how to read a map. I just….never learned.

Go on an African Safari. Lions and tigers and bears OH MY! But more like: lions and giraffes and elephants OH FUN!

Learn a new language. Or at least, part of a new language. I’d love to learn Arabic one day and I know I’ll need to learn some basic Spanish and possibly Hindi for my time overseas. But I’d love to really get a grasp on a little somethin-somethin.

Play soccer in each country. Okay, disclaimer: I am no soccer player. Last time I was on a team was in 2004. I was but a child. I just have this overwhelming urge to play it every now and then. But how cool would it be to do it in 11 different countries?!

I wanna be on a boat. Very open ended but I just want to adventure on a boat, ya know?

Use horses as a means of transportation. This is just a want for everyday life too.

Get good at taking photos. I wanna take photos and share peoples stories with the world. Also, pictures are a great way to build memories. Now I gotta buy a camera…

I wanna see people grow in their relationship with Christ. I wanna get away from consumer Christianity and see people move towards serving one another and loving each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. I wanna see more of this in my own life as well.

I wanna be at the equator! We’ll be in Ecuador so…let’s make it happen, captain.

Hike Machu Picchu! Okay, imagine this: it’s a gorgeous day, you feel a breeze as you ascend the mountain, then you look next to you. Another traveler has joined you. It’s a llama. Paradise.

Ride a camel! Or at least, see a camel. They’re my favorite animal!

See castles in Romania!

Literally, anything in Romania and Ukraine.

Build lasting friendships! This is super cheesy but I really want to make deep connections with people on and off my team.
World Race isn’t a vacation but we will get adventure days to take in the culture and explore! Sometimes, you just gotta get away for a little while. Or 11 months. Whichever comes first.
