One of the things the Lord has been showing me this month is how we are all made in His image.

Genesis 1:27 says “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.”  We were made by Him in His Image!

I had several moments this month (January) where I would look at the community around me in Mahapleu and just feel such love, joy, peace, and comfort.

One day we were walking back from I believe it was market ministry; I was tired and drained, ready to rest and eat. But as we were walking the 45 minutes back home (our ministry host location) I kept looking all around at the beauty of the area I was in and thanking God for all of it and the ministry time and found myself glancing at some of the familiar faces passing by and those (children/young adults/ladies) that were walking with us that lived on site.

I found myself asking the Lord why I felt such love, joy, peace, and comfort around them that I knew was unnatural for me especially since I really didn’t know them deeply nor was I able to communicate very well with them.

After a while of walking in awe and pondering, I felt Jesus say, you’re seeing and experiencing the Me in them. This blew me away, I was like wow! That’s so incredible! I pray that others can see and experience the Jesus in me the way that I saw and experienced Jesus in the community we were with in Mahapleu. It was so tangible and so heightened.

Another very connected topic that the Lord spoke to me about is the Body of Christ.
