God is so good. Let me say that again. God is so good. After a beautiful but spiritually dark month in Nepal, my soul was yearning for a peaceful place to rest and be filled.

From the moment I stepped foot in Rwanda, I knew He brought me to that place. My Father knew exactly what I needed this month. A quiet place to lay my head. A sunny room to spend time with Him in the morning. A kitchen to use my cooking skills in. Hungry teammates to serve. A room full of sewing machines and a bag of scrap fabric to get crafty. A Christian bookstore to restock my book supply. An international English speaking church that facilitates worship and spiritual growth. Ministry hosts that pour out encouragement and lead us in worship. Women who started as “ministry” that have become sisters.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”  Lamentations 3:22-25 ESV

I’m going to leave you with this song because the stories on my heart aren’t ready to be told…

or I’m not ready to tell them.

“Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me…

With my life laid down, I’m surrendered now.

I give you everything.

Your goodness is running after, it’s running after me.”
