This month in Rwanda we’re working with a ministry that helps young women recover from their past through discipleship and education. The women are not only encouraged in their spiritual growth but are also taught sewing and business skills. At the end of the nine-month program, they are better equipped to enter the workforce and provide for themselves by honest means.
They start each day with a group devotion, testimonies, and worship. Worship looks a little different here than at home. There’s a lot of jumping and traditional dances given in praise to the One who deserves it all. As a team, we have really enjoyed being a part of this time. I can’t explain to you the love I have for these women already.
