Well guys, it’s official. I am no longer a part of Team Resurgent anymore… I am now a part of Team FLY! As much as I have enjoyed my time with my previous team, I am super excited to see what this next team dynamic will be like and how much the Lord will use each person to impact my life. I am honestly loving Team Fly so much, I can hardly contain my excitement. Each one of these people plays a very special role; I can practically see right now how each of these people will impact me during these next few months! Look at these beautiful faces:
Let me introduce you to them, starting with the ladies!
Anna
Anna is our team treasurer! She is focused, driven, incredibly organized, adventurous, and super stylish (I mean for real)! Since I first met Anna at training camp, I noticed something about her: every time you are around her, you learn something about her that you didn’t know before. She is like a diamond: there are so many sides to her personality, and the longer you look, the more precious you realize that she is. This girl is also FULL of knowledge and great wisdom, whether it comes to life in general or life in the spirit. I feel like I have already learned so much from her! She is a great balance to my rambunctious, overly-energetic self. I cannot wait to see how much more I will learn from her!
Katy
Katy is our team storyteller. She is one of the kindest, most gentle people I have ever met, and her intentionality in her relationship with the Lord is so so beautiful! Katy actually spent about a week with my last team when we were in Peru, and I’m excited to get to actually be on an official team with her! She has a huge heart for people and an even bigger heart for the Lord and His mission. She has the drive of an evangelist with the compassionate heart of Christ. This girl has got so much in her that the Lord is going to bring out more and more over the next few months! Can’t wait to see just how powerfully He works through her!
Jen
Jen is our worship coordinator (both for our team AND for our squad). This girl may be one of the most talented musicians I know (and I know a lot of them)! She has written SEVERAL songs over the last few months, and I have been privileged to hear her sing a handful of them during worship nights on the Race. She has such a powerful, beautiful talent. The Lord is going to work incredibly mightily through her not just to impact the ministries we are a part of, but also to impact us as a squad by bringing us into her creative process through the incredible atmosphere of worship she helps create. She is relentless in her pursuit of the Lord, making her one of the most inspiring people I know. Also, she is basally my soul-sister. We are SO alike!
And now for the guys!
Tyler

Tyler is one of 3 three logistics coordinators for our squad. He was one of the first people on the squad that I felt connected to (not really sure how to explain it… just that I knew there was something special about him). A lot of our stories are really similar, and I feel like we also have a lot in common. He has a very intimate relationship with the Lord and is incredibly prophetic. The way that the Lord speaks to Him is really special. Tyler is the kind of guy who knows what he wants and fights for what he believes in. He stands his ground and does not give an inch. I have desired for a long time to grow in the areas where Tyler excels, so I am excited to learn from this guy a lot as well! And of course, to continue to get to know this awesome guy for who he is! I have a feeling we are going to be good friends!
Lee:

Lee. There are a lot of things I could say about Lee. Lee was on my last team, and I am so grateful to get to be on his team once again! We had grown a lot closer over the last few months. I had joked about the idea of us being put on a team together again but thought it unlikely. How awesome that I get to spend the whole year with him! Clearly the Lord thought we still have a lot more to learn from each other (and I agree). As we continue to dive deeper into our relationship with the Lord, I know we will continue to get to know each other much better and form an inseparable bond. So grateful to get to have someone like him in my life. Here’s to many more years of friendship with this guy!
Me:
I am incredibly privileged to say that I get to lead this beautiful team for the next few months! I feel so blessed that the Lord has called me into the team leader position and am thrilled at the possibility for growth in this new season. In fact, I already feel like I’ve grown so much! I pray that the Lord gives me wisdom and discernment because I know that I cannot handle these responsibilities on my own. But He gives us things we can’t handle to remind us to lean in to Him! So here goes nothing! I’m diving in!
Our team is going to be a team of honesty and vulnerability— a team where we will speak our minds but choose love and relationship with the others above ourselves. From all the bits of our testimonies that we have shared so far, we can all see a lot of similarities in our stories, and it is precisely these connections that will help knit us together as a cohesive unit. Please be praying that we continue to seek the Lord individually. In doing so, we will begin to love each other more because we see more of Him in each other. As our team name (Team Fly) implies, we are going to rise up on wings of eagles and fly high, soaring through the sky in complete and total freedom.
Our team verse: 2 Corinthians 3:17 — “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”
In all things, be blessed!
AG
