Hello all
My name is America (yes,that is my real name). I am twenty-four and currently a missionary in Norway . I have been living in Norway for three years working with a nonprofit missions organization called Youth With A Mission (YWAM).
I was born in Homestead, Florida and was raised in Conyers, GA with a supportive and amazing mom, an older brother, and younger sister, who is my best friend and my whole heart. Over the past few years my heart has really grown for people. I have been learning who God is and seeing Him for who He says He is, not for the boxes people have put Him in or for the religion that surrounds Him.
This next year as I prepare to embark on this surreal opportunity, I want to: show God’s love, exceed peoples expectations and ideal of who God is ,and show the endless joy that only comes from Gods goodness. I made the choice to do these things through World Race because I have heard many life changing stories from both Gap Year and World Race participants. I also really liked that World Race has the vision and the goals that align with my own values.
