here are my biggest inspirations and how you can be praying along side me for them!
Mom:
Amazing. Loving. Heart of absolute GOLD! You are for sure the strongest woman I know. You’ve taught me how to live a life full of hope in ALL circumstances. Right off the bat, thing after thing tried tearing you down but you never let it. You always clung to hope. You are my biggest supporter in everything I do. You’ve shown me that I can always be encouraged and that there’s always things to thank the Lord for.
pray for strength, a child-like faith, perseverance even when times get hard, and for a servant heart.
Dad:
Laughter. Determination. The funniest, most relaxed person I know. You tell the best dad jokes, the best stories, and the best advice. Growing up I remember always being out in the garage helping you build things then when I was done we always had to race inside because I was scared of the ‘monsters’ and raccoons that lurk around our house. Also, you would wake me up in the mornings for school by tickling my feet making me so mad, but you always did what it took to put a smile on my face. Thats something I notice about you a lot. When I was in Venture Scouts, I remember you would always push me to the very edge- we went white water rafting, caving and you always encouraged me to do whatever was outside of my comfort zone. Here in Ecuador you are in my thoughts a lot. When I heard someone say we could go zip-lining and canyoning I knew that if you were here you would really encourage me to do it, so I did.
pray for the Fathers love, guidance, a servants heart, strength, and that the Lord would speak to him and renew his heart and faith.
Taylor:
Strength. Courage. The strongest male I have ever met. You have been through way more than any other 26 (almost 27) year old has been through- from having CGD, more surgeries than I have fingers and toes, a bone marrow transplant, to having a baby girl, finding out the transplant failed, to now getting a divorce; you’ve seen it all. You’re a guinea pig in most medication cases, thank you for that. You’re helping other people. You have such a huge voice that can be used to help people with CGD and it can also help people to know the Lord. I’m proud of you.
healing. super natural healing. I pray for that every single day. pray that the Father would wrap His arms around him so he can feel His love so strongly and that he knows he can use his voice to help others. Pray against any sadness, feeling alone, not being enough. pray for happiness
Ryan:
Inspiration. Motivation. The last 3 to 4 years of your life have been rough. Being a dad in high school is not an easy task. You received a lot of criticism and handled it so well each time. You knew that you had a perfect baby boy at home who needed you, so you chose to let the criticism go right past you. Then after high school you fought for your son, and you continue to do so. You are an inspirational person. The last few years of your life have been rough, but please remember that the Father is walking with you and loving you through this. God gives some of the hardest battles to the strongest people. Remember that battles you’re going through for Landon, the Father fought even harder for YOU! One thing you can be assured of is that everything that happened was all part of God’s great plan.
pray for peace, protection, the Father’s love, strength, perserverence. pray against depression, anxiety and pray for happiness, pray that he knows he’s enough.
this week I have been feeling so so so grateful for you all, it has brought me to tears many times. I love you all more than words could describe.
