So..I am officially signed up for the World Race! HOLY MOLY… That is SO crazy to type out. I will be on the June 2019 Route, where I will be traveling to 11 different countries in 11 months. Here is my route:
Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Morocco, Ethiopia, Djibouti, India, Nepal, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia!!!!
The World Race is a mission trip run by the non profit organization, Adventures in Missions. It is an 11 country mission trip to “share the love of Jesus and serve others around the world.”
I am so so excited but also nervous to go on this crazy adventure, as 11 months is a long time to be traveling. As I reflect on this past year, I see how God has been preparing my heart and mind for this. Through this season of lots of healing and growth, I feel like June 2019 is a perfect time to do this.
I will be doing various missions in each of these countries where my team and I will be staying with a host/host family. We will be there to help with whatever the people of these countries need at the time. Each country will look very different in terms of what we will be doing daily, as we will be partnering with different ministries and churches.
One thing I am really excited about is working with those trapped in human trafficking. Many of the countries we will be traveling to including, India, Nepal, and Thailand, are sadly full of human trafficking and prostitution. I want to be a light to these beautiful children and woman, and show them how loved and worthy they are; How there is hope, and God has so much more for their life’s.
I need your support and prayer as I go into this next season of life. I need to raise $19,200 in order to go on this trip. Yes… I know, that is a whole bunch of money to raise, but I am trusting that God has put this trip on my heart time and time again for a reason.
