While I driving home from work the other day, I was thinking about what to make my next blog about well I know I am having a very busy life right now with school, work, and moving. Yes, thats right I am moving months prior to the World Race. This move is gonna be hard because transferring from a very large house to a much smaller house is great but yet difficult when trying to decided what to keep and what not to keep.

I have started my second major at Liberty University online program in Bachleors of Religion in Christian Ministry. I have only been in my classes for a week and I am learning so much and I have been challenged in a way that is helping me grow spiritually. While looking at one of my assignments that I was doing I had to read a Book called “Catching Faith” By: Ed Hinson. That book is about Life lessons from Old Testament Heroes. My assignment asked me to choice from Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph. I started to look back at where I first came from to where I am at now with my walk with Christ and I chose that I was more like Jacob going through all these hard times but at the end God used him do to amazing things.

I have really been working on staying stress free throughout all of this craziness. The one thing that is helping me is just go away from everything whether or not that is driving, working out, or just walking in the park. The one thing I have done to help me get through all of this stress times especially with moving. I just go out and driving around, listen to music, Talk to God, or even my favorite is to go and play sports.

The one thing that I have definitely realized so far in doing my school work and finding time to do other things in my schedule was trusting God with his timing not mine. I have really been trusting Gods time lately because He knows what I need to get done for the day and I will always make sure that school comes first in my schedule. The one thing I love about Liberty University Online is that they make where they don’t overwhelm you. I feel like I can plan out my schedule around what God wants me to do not what I want to do.

Training camp starts in OCT!!!! Which means I have been training my body to keep pushing itself even when it doesn’t want to keep going. I have been lifting with my High School team I coach for and I also play some pick-up basketball just to get myself in shape for the World Race. I also have a saying where its mentality over physicality. That means you have to know mentality that you can go the extra distance even though your body doesn’t want you to.

As it is Written in Isaiah the prophet: “I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way”- “a voice of one calling in the wilderness, prepare the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.” Mark 1:2-3.

I hope y’all enjoyed this blog post which is a little update of what have been going on in my life.

God Bless,
