Who’s Team New Ground?!
Month 6 baby! So much changes, so many difference. One of them was the team changes at the beginning of Month 5 in Argentina! I have yet to fully introduce you to my new team! Allow me to do so!
Maddie Hungate:
Maddie is our new team leader! It is her first time team leading, but this isn’t stopping her from doing such a fantastic job already! She lead us so well in Month 5 making sure we get what we need as a team. Rallying behind each one of us and making sure each one of our voices are heard. She’s also very good with bringing wisdom and peace in our team speaking into each one of our lives as we do team time or have conflict. Her caring attitude with us also extends to the kids we meet in each ministry site. She’s one that automatically draws towards the little ones and brings so much joy to them!
Courtney Yerkes:
Courtney, our storyteller leader! She has such a free spirit and easy going attitude! Her pack is the lightest in the entire squad! She doesn’t need much to live life to the fullest. Her heart is in total obedience to God, even to the point of shaving her hair when God wanted to show her where true beauty lies. She pushes us to continue to write stories in order to allow our friends and family enter in this amazing journey we are partaking with God!
Sarah (Debbs) Oliver:
Sarah! Aka Debbs as we would call her! She is our new treasurer! Taking over my role as a treasurer, she has been doing an outstanding job handling the money! Her dedication and willingness to steward money well is evident in her day to day actions. We are definitely blessed to be served by her in this manner! Sarah is also a person who strives to love others by getting into the difficult conversations. The ones that aren’t easy to bring up but draws us so much closer together after our discussions.
Daniel Sperry:
Dan the man! I’m sure you’ve known him well by now if you have been keeping up with the VLOGS and blogs. He is the only one from my original team. Daniel is totally on fire for God. You would be hard pressed to find someone who walks and talks about God and about the sincerity of their heart in the tough moments as he does. Daniel walks in the authority of scriptures and fights in spiritual battles daily for everyone around him. He has a heart to go deep in relationship with you and will talk heart to heart things. If you aren’t following his Vlog, I encourage you to do so as he has a lot of good, god centered, messages to share.
Cami Chickonoski:
Cami is one of our new Squad Leader! Raised up from being a team leader in the last few months, she has stepped into this role so brightly! With her calm and jolly demeanor, she challenges us to grow out of her love for us, by asking questions that helps us dig deeper into our being. She guides us and unifies us by following God so closely. Her obedience to God is amazing, even to the point of sharing difficult testimonies in her life only to uplift those around her. I’m excited to se her continue to lead our squad into new and amazing places. We have the pleasure of having her this month!
Sara Kidd:
Sara! Wow, she must be the most kindest and most gentlest soul around! She brings a presence of calm and serenity that can change the atmosphere of a team! Her smile brings joy and a sense of safety to those around her. Sara, like Cami, is the other raised up Squad Leader! We had the pleasure of having her join us in Month 5 in Argentina where I got a chance to see how much she just serves without being asked, and how much she loves and engages people all around her. Her genuine heart to love others is easily seen!
