About This
I’m going to 11 countries in 11 months, 1 month per country, to serve and volunteer to those in need with a Christian organization sharing the love of Jesus! This can be in many forms, such as teaching English, helping out in orphanages, building homes, helping in elderly homes or specials need kids, red light districts, and more!
About me
Born in Hong Kong, raised in Canada. I became Christian in my early 20’s. Pursuing Animation as a career, I’ve worked on several movies and TV shows (Blade Runner 2049, Ghost in the Shell, Batman vs Superman, Men in Black 3, etc). I am currently working on X-men: Dark Phoenix. My last movie before I will embark on the 11 months missions trip!
I’ve always believed there was a higher being, an intelligent creator. But I never knew what that would look like. When I turned 20, I started looking at different religions to see if I can reach God. I started studying into the historical evidence of scripture of different religion, and how they came to be. This lead me to study more in depth, the archaeological and historical evidence for the New Testament of the bible. I figured, if I Jesus is to say who he is in the New Testament, I would have to see if this had any truth in it. After a year and a half of studying, I finally came to be about 80% sure that there is enough logical evidence to prove that Jesus did rise from the dead. But it was only when I asked God to show himself to me, that I felt his presence. It was a moment where I couldn’t control my crying, but felt this warmth in my heart, and this peace in my mind. Over the years, I saw more and more miraculous things in my life that now I can say, I truly am a believer and follower of Jesus.
This has changed me in so many ways. My values of what matters most is now changed. This is part of the reason why I felt going on this long term missions trip was right. I want to follow God’s command to go share the love of Jesus around the world, to proclaim the good news and help one another.
I’m grateful to be apart of this amazing journey of life with God! He has changed me to be a better version of myself.
