Hello Family and Friends!
I have told some of you to look forward to a blog that will help you pray for our team, this year, and the countries. This is a vital part of the mission. More than donations, your prayers are needed – that is not just a Christian Cliché. God moves in the unseen as His people pray.
“If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14
I know this verse applies to one’s own land, but the content behind the heart of God here is clear. In seeking God’s face in prayer, God moves not only in situations, but also in us and our hearts.
The awesome part is because of Jesus we can constantly seek the face of God and commune with Him. You can ask Him for anything in His will, and we can know that we have it!
“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19
“And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22
“Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13
“ If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” John 15:7
The Word of God is pretty clear that asking and agreeing together, in Jesus name, with faith, and in His will, we can KNOW that we have that for which we ask.
I would love a team of people committed to praying for this journey. My team and I are currently fasting and praying together of one another and the trip.
I am going to start a Facebook page that specifically just asks for prayer and where we can put our pray requests. I would love for you to not just follow but join the group in prayer.
If not, here is a list of things for which you can actively be in prayer:
-our team unity
-Cambodian, Ethiopian, Nicaraguan, and Costa Rican people and their lands
-their hearts and responding to the gospel or good news of Jesus and New Life in the Spirit
-team faith
-protection from the evil one
-walking under authority and in authority
-Squad unity and hearts of compassion
-fruit in our lives to be produced
-spirit of wisdom and revelation to know Christ better
-the ministry hosts, expanse of their ministry, and fruitfulness in their labor
-team leaders, Squad leaders, and all other persons behind the scenes making things happen at Adventures in Missions
