This weekend, the journey begins! Most people going on the World Race fundraise, but I didn’t feel comfortable asking for money since I’m so incredibly grateful to all of my family and friends who helped contribute toward building a well in Ethiopia for my birthday last year through the nonprofit charity:water. I do have a request from all of you though: please keep me in your prayers to ensure that everyone who I’m traveling with along with myself has a safe trip. If any of you feel inspired to chip in, I won’t refuse any contributions, but I definitely don’t expect anything; prayers are plenty. Our first destination is the Philippines. Until then, may the Way, the Truth, and the Life be with us all.
