I hope you had a Merry Christmas! Thank you so much for following my blog, donating to me, and praying for me and my team! I am leaving in just a few days for World Race Launch.

How am I feeling?

It all feels like a blur. I have been anticipating leaving on the World Race for nearly a year, so I can’t believe I am so close! Very excited, very nervous.

Am I ready?

Yes and no. I have checked all my check lists and have most things done, but there will always be more that I could have done. But that’s ok. The story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-42 has been very relevant in my life. Remember: Mary chose the only thing worth being concerned about, the thing that will never be taken from her. That is abiding in, listening to, and surrendering to Jesus.

Am I packed?

No, but I have all the things laying out on the floor, and will probably pack them up the day before I leave.

Here is the schedule:

I will be leaving Minnesota Monday 12/31. My parents and I will have a road trip together, to Atlanta Georgia. We will take 3 days to drive down, and are planning on stopping at The Ark Encounter in Kentucky. January 3 will be the beginning of World Race Launch. Many of us will have our parents with us, and they will participate in sessions with us 1/4-5. Then, we will say goodbye to our loved ones, and have one more day of training with our teams.

January 6 or 7, my squad will fly to Japan! As of now, we do not know where in Japan we will be.

Prayer requests:

Safe driving on our road trip and good bonding time with my parents.

That I will remember everything I need!

Open hearts and minds to learn at the sessions at Launch.

Unity in my team.

For the Japanese people that we will encounter and the ministry we will be doing in Japan.

P.S. I got my hair cut today!

My parents and I love road trips! Here’s a video of a road trip we took recently:
