Hey y’all, I know it’s been a while since I posted a blog so I wanted to offer some updates! Last month in Romania my team and I spent our month in a place called the “Graveyard.” Believers call it this because they say it’s where “missionaries go to die.” A bit morbid I know, but made sense after hearing about the 0.2% of Christians there and how the missionaries usually give up their cause. While there, we partnered with a church. Some days I was passing out Christian newspapers and evangelizing, others I was prayer walking at a park where an event would be held. I helped with cleaning, administration work geared towards surrounding churches in Europe, manual labor, preparing for PVT, and some of the children’s events. It ended up being a very busy month full of traveling throughout Romania.

At the end of the month, PVT (Parent Vision Trip) was held in the city my team had been in. My parents flew out and joined me in Romania for 5 days, 3 of them full of ministry. We got to play soccer with kids on the children’s day, fellowship with believers in Craiova at a social event, and pass out New Testament Bibles on roads in a nearby village. It was definitely an experience. I had never done ministry alongside my parents as a peer before. I am so thankful they were able to come and get a small glimpse of what life has been like for me the past 8 1/2 months out on the field. And I’m especially proud of my momma for getting WAY out of her comfort zone and diving into our Race culture.

In all, Romania was a slow-paced, busy month (weird but it makes sense to us) full of new friends and memories. It was a great way to end our European leg of the Race. Next stop, Africa!

Headed for the last leg of this Race,
