Processing day! If I’m being not much happened today. I trained some of the girls at the gym (seriously considering making this a ministry…); getting in a great workout with an even better community. Afterwards I got to process this past month, which is always time consuming yet rewarding. Putting everything down on paper is a great tool of release and understanding of all that’s happened. Then tonight I stayed in at the coffee house and helped serve people, talk and fellowship with others, play cards, and really just have fun. Listening to the stories of these people and letting them know they’re heard, someone cares, and they matter seems such a simple task. It goes so far though. The joy on their faces when I ask questions like “What’s your favorite food?” or “What do you like to do for fun?” Most people love to share when they know someone is listening and they WANT to know. So tonight I listening and loved it. We’re all God’s children and we all have a story to tell, sometimes we just need someone to listen.
