It’s adventure day! Today was incredible, and so far my second favorite adventure day on the Race (climbing the volcano in El Salvador is still #1). Some of us took a 3ish hour drive into Hungary to the capital, Budapest. To be completely honest, Budapest hasn’t ever really been on my radar. I haven’t ever had a huge desire to go and see it, I also didn’t know a whole lot about it. But WOWOWOWOW LET ME TELL YOU. This city is breathtaking. The architecture, the food, the rich history, the culture, it’s all so beautiful. I practically had my jaw on the ground the whole time we were there. If it isn’t already on your list of places to visit, I highly suggest adding it. I will be posting pictures to facebook inside my “Serbia” album since that’s our country this month, so you can check them out there! Some of the things we got to see/experience: The Grand Budapest Hotel, the Hot Springs, a castle, lángos (google it, so good!), the Parliament, chimney cakes, Hero’s Square, and so much more. The city and the day were both incredible, and I hope to one day come back!
