Wow! So a super cool thing that happened today, some of us got to go over to the house of a woman who comes to church. She needed some help moving around heavy furniture and of course I jumped at the opportunity to lift heavy things. After we were all done moving everything, she showed us amazing hospitality. She had cooked a dish similar to Burek (I think that’s how you spell it, look it up it’s delicious!) and had us all sit down and enjoy it. We got to talk with her a bit as her son translated and learned of her story. She has been through very rough times, and still God has continuously provided for her, and she is now fostering two girls in her home. Through church she learned of my spiritual gifts, and I had the opportunity to pray over her, the home, and her family. God showed me how beautiful she is in His eyes and His love for her. I now get to pray for her and her family the rest of the month we are here, and the little pocket of kingdom she has created her home to be.
