Today was travel day! We left debrief in Belgrade and traveled to a city named Sombor where we will be doing ministry this month. My team and I are paired with another this month, team Lioness from our squad. We get to live in community and serve alongside each other. Of course, there’s pros and cons to that. But I mean what can go wrong when you throw 10 women into a room together for a month, right?
We settled in, half of us sleeping on the floor, half on cots. We got a little tour of the church we are staying in, and later got to meet some of the surrounding locals and church goers. We communed over coffee, tea, snacks, spicy uno, music, and ping pong. It was a simple, laid back night of fellowship to ease us into what ministry will look like this month.
