2018 lessons:
1) I am a like a sheep and tend to stray away (more than I would like to admit) BUT God! He captures my heart again and again.
2) God opened my eyes to a life that He had for me and how much sweeter it is. He often interrupts our plans with His purpose 🙂
3) This was a year I learned how God is my provider!! Seriously, fundraising is scary and SUPER intimidating, but look at God do His thing!! MY provider.
4) This was a year I would learn that God’s timing is always worth the wait. And even when I try to force it, He always has a funny way of telling me “Not yet, my girl. Nice try.”
5) This was a year I would graduate college (no one saw this coming but BOOM!) Thank You JESUS! I am smart and capable!
6) This was a year I would learn that strong is beautiful.
7) This was a year I would learn how to fight the battle in my mind. I would learn that my thoughts are not God’s thoughts and He sees me in a whole different (and beautiful) light.
8) This was a year I would learn how to stand up for myself and not be pushed around.
9) This was a year that I would FINALLY understand who the Holy Spirit is (and how AMAZING He is!!!!) Seriously. This has changed my life.
10) This was a year God would call me to The World Race and no matter how unworthy I felt, He still calls me. And when I gave Him a yes, He would begin to do a WONDERFUL work in me.
What an amazing year full of love, hardships, joy, hurt, strength, peace, GRACE, and so much more! I am so ready for you, 2019 🙂 I am ready to learn what it looks like to live for the sake of the Gospel.
