Hi Friends and Family,

Can you believe it’s already June 2020?! So much has happened in our world. I pray you and your families are healthy and safe and still trusting in the Solid Rock (Jesus). If you are feeling anxious, fearful, angry, overwhelmed or frustrated, take it all to Him. I promise He won’t let you down. People, the world, the systems of the world will always let you down one way or another, but He never will. His promises will never fail. He never fails. The God of the universe promises to be with you now and literally forever…. sit with that for a minute and throw all of your cares to Him.

I’ve been on a social media break since February, so I apologize if you’ve tried to reach out to me via the various platforms and I haven’t responded. I’m honestly not sure if I’ll ever be back. I haven’t missed the minutes/hours I would spend each day scrolling through post after post. Instead, text or email me and I will respond as soon as I can.

I also recently shut down my personal blog. It was getting too expensive and I was not consistently posting anything. Which leads me to why I decided to write here today. I started a newsletter! I’m excited because one of my long-term goals is to publish a book by 2025. This newsletter is a way of keeping me accountable. I plan to send out the newsletter around 2 times per month. Sometimes, I will send out exclusive content, just for my newsletter subscribers to give me feedback about the book. Mostly though, I will be sharing some random things about life, running, etc.

If you’d like to subscribe to the newsletter, click here: https://sharonruns.substack.com/p/coming-soon

In courageous faith and for His glory alone,

Sharon

P.S.

I will also be periodically posting here:

as I train for another marathon and raise $2,620 dollars for New York Road Runners Kids Programs, which will be so vital once the pandemic passes.

P.P.S.

Sadly, this is my very last blog post here on the World Race site. The World Race chapter of my life is over now, so I must move on to what the Lord has in store for me. I will forever be thankful to all of you for your prayers and support during the World Race chapter of my life.
