Dear Mom,
You’re the best mom in the world
You’re my number 1 fan
You’re my best friend
You’re my confidante
You’re my mother
You taught me to never give up on the things that matter
You taught me to keep pursuing God through the hills and valleys, through the good days and the bad
You taught me that eating healthy wholesome foods is do-able on a budget and can still be delicious
You taught me to stay consistent with physical activity so that we can be the best versions of ourselves to the world for the Lord
You’re the best cheerleader/spectator a marathoner could ask for
You’re the best dog-grandmom there is
You taught me to encourage myself with scripture
You taught me to work hard and laugh hard
You taught me to pray, pray, and keep on praying
You taught me to be courageous
You taught me to seek first His kingdom
This is a short list
Not in any order
There’s so much more I could say
All good things
All the lessons
But here in this moment
All I can say is
I love you
