Hello Everyone from the very small town of Heidelberg in South Africa.

To begin month 6, the squad left Swaziland (aka Eswatini) on Saturday, March 2nd. We drove about 5 hours to Johannesburg, South Africa. Once we got to Johannesburg, we all split up to go to our assigned ministries throughout South Africa.

The 2 co-ed teams have been split up due to this month being “Man-istry” month. Manistry month just means all of the guys on the squad are together for the month. Since my team is coed, all 4 of us Team Kainoseros girls are combined with the 4 -Team 7th Heaven girls.

It is me, Eva, Amanda G., Lauren, Amanda W., Ashley C., Morgan, and the team Leader, Savannah.

We arrived in Johannesburg around 2pm. After we unloaded all of our packs, we waited around for our ride. Around 4:30pm, our ride arrived and we immediately headed to the Western Cape. Our drivers were members from the church we are partnering with for the month. Spending overnight in the van was not glamorous, but it also wasn’t that bad! We arrived the next day around 10am.

This month, we have partnered with a church called Langberg Christian Fellowship. We have done preschool ministry, community outreach with the area Bible College students, and general evangelism throughout the community. It’s been a great month! I love our ministry hosts, Pastor Phil and Tania. We have been staying at their house and it’s been like a home and not just a house.

God has used the community of Langberg Christian Fellowship to refresh my soul at this halfway point of the Race. They have been models of the selfless love of Jesus. It will be sad to leave this place, but I’m excited to move on to what God has next for me.

In courageous faith and for His glory alone,

Sharon
