Happy September! Here are some updates for the month.
1. T-shirts – I have only a few shirts left (only size available now is Large).
How to get one? Donate $25 via the link above, then send me an email to [email protected] with which size and your mailing address.
2. Tag Sale/Fundraiser/Lemonade Stand – Books, Furniture, fancy church hats, Cannondale bike, and other miscellaneous items for sale. Everything must go, so prices are negotiable!
Come have fun and hunt for the things you never knew you needed while sipping an ice-cold lemonade.
3. Adopt a jar/country results – Thank you to everyone who participated. You raised over $500.00 and I still have more jars to be counted. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I also have all of the notes securely packed in my daypack. I promise not to open them until I’m in each specific country!
4. Thank you Luncheon (Save the Date 9/30/18) – At the luncheon, I would like to personally thank all of you for your support, encouragement, prayer. At the luncheon I will also give a presentation on missions and more about the World Race and Adventures in Missions as an organization. RSVP required. Evite will be sent out soon. If you do not receive an Evite from me and you are local or will be in NY on 9/30, please let me know.
5. Adopt a box fundraiser – not all of the boxes have been adopted yet. Once all of the boxes are adopted, I will randomly choose 11 boxes. I am hoping to be finished packing by September 20th. That is also our next support-raising deadline.
7. My last day at work will be September 28, 2018. I will always remember this job as the one that pushed me to seek God like never before. Blog post about this is in the works!
