Quick updates, then below is a small portion of my notes from a Women’s Conference I went to last weekend. One of the speakers was Priscilla Shirer. She is a powerful and an anointed speaker. I was blessed by that whole weekend, so I thought I’d share some of my notes with you.
Adopt a Jar results – I am still in the process of counting all the money in each jar! I am now at over $300 and counting. Thank you for your support!
T-shirts – They are $25 each (free shipping). I still have a few left of medium and large. Please email me at [email protected] on how many you would like, what sizes, and where to mail. To pay, send $25(for each shirt) to paypal.me/sharonworldrace or donate the amount here (Donate link above on the right).
Training camp – Only 2 weeks now until training camp! These next 2 weeks will be busy with work, packing and repacking until I get it right, sending out more fundraising letters, and getting more excited to meet the October 2018 Route 2 Squad!
He called, He gave, He sent
Luke 9:1-17 and Mark 6:7-13
Jesus sent His disciples (to authenticate Jesus as the Messiah) in pairs.
Then, they came back to Jesus to give an account.
*God calls us specifically to do the impossible so we can experience and display the power of God.
1. He called them. What has God called you to do? What has God called me to do? God has uniquely ordained a different purpose for each of us. Everyone is to give an account of their ministry and how we have handled the assignment He’s entrusted to us.
2. He gave. He gave them power and authority. If He called you to do it, He will give you what you need to carry out the assignment. “not by might, not by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord.”
3. He sent them. Resist the urge to send yourself for an assignment that’s not yet time. The timing and process is important.
*When we realize His sovereignty, we can relax knowing He has everything under control. We can trust His plans are good.
Next up, be on the look out for a guest post from one of my squadmates (one of the 30+ people I will be traveling with).
As always, please subscribe, share the blog, and donate if you have not already. I cannot carry out this call to the World Race Mission Trip alone. Your support means so much.
In courageous faith and for His glory alone,
Sharon
