My New Home and all of its Glory… My new family of 53 are living in cute Costa Rican house somewhere between San José and Curridabat. We are the first world racers to ever live in the house so everything is nice and new with beds, showers, and clean water so yeah bless up! I begin every morning just wrapping my head around the fact that I live in Central America with a massive group of such amazing, jesus loving, cool people. I start to plan my day knowing that today can only get better than yesterday because i get to meet, serve, help, and love on all the locals that i encounter. Then I pray and thank God for such a wonderful opportunity with endless possibilities that he is constantly letting me explore with Him.And then as i finally get out of bed and walk outside the Lord takes my breath away once again w this incredible mountainous view in our backyard.(in the pic below)Literally, i sit and look at it for hours just barely comprehending how gorgeous, strong, and holy the God that i serve is. The thought that really gets me is that THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE that has made this view and every good thing EVER has a relationship w me, he talks, teaches, cares and loves me every single day while putting breathe in my lungs and giving me life. GUYS! like that is literally the first 5 minutes for me after i awake! like how good is our God. and how blessed are we to be called his children! lol sorry i got carried away but can ya blame me?¿
So yeah! that’s my daily routine then onto my daily grind…. tuesday-saturday my team and i take a 45min van ride to our ministry at a christian school (kinda in the ghetto) and play with adorable kids, clean and help, or basically serve in whatever way they need. i’m falling so in love with the people here it’s unreal! But this week was different because this weekend was their independence so we got to go with them through a huge parade with a band and all the children were all dressed up with adorable matching outfit. Also i got to play soccer and four square, 2 of my favorite childh games so I had a blast! Ill keep you beautiful people posted<3 God Bless and enjoy these beautiful piX!
