During worship a few nights ago at Launch we were singing ‘Reckless Love’ by Cory Asbury. As I was singing the song, I caught myself just singing the words out of habit and not really believing the truth that exists within the lyrics. I questioned God: ‘How exactly is this reckless love present in my life?’ ‘What ways are you showing this love to me?’

I think we’ve all been here in our walk- no matter what the truth is, the enemy plants doubts in our mind, making us question our Creator.

Within one minute of wrestling with these questions and asking God, one of my squadmates, Cindy, approached me. She told me God wanted me to know that I am seen and so loved by Jesus. That He is continually chasing me down. That His love for me is never-ending and so overwhelming.

God used Cindy to speak His truth to me- and it was exactly what I needed. He is so faithful. And the awesome thing is- He doesn’t love any of us more than the other. He loves us without circumstance. His love is greater than anything of this world. He is so ready for you come running after Him in pursuit, just the way He is chasing down your heart.

I’m getting ready to board my first flight of many over the next nine months… and in 1 day I’ll be calling Cambodia my new home for a little while. I cannot wait to share this sweet love of Jesus with the people of Cambodia. That through their brokenness, sins and feelings of worthlessness, they will learn of a Savior who desires nothing more than their heart.

Fundraising updates: I’m currently at $11,800! Truly amazing and extremely grateful for God’s goodness through this entire process. I still have to raise $4,000 if I want to stay on the field for the entire 9 months. Please prayerfully consider a one time donation or a small monthly donation. Anything helps! Thank you in advance!
