Living with you 23 during the Race were some of my favorite parts of these past 11 months. Being on N Squad was like coming alive, strong love, and a community I never experienced. Here are 11 memories that make saying good bye so hard:

1. Sharing pizza and Pepsi in leaderships room at our first debrief.

2. Eating the same icecream pie with 25 other people.

3. Sharing our living quarters with pigeons.

4. Multiple people in the bathroom at one time (Joy’s of only having one bathroom)

5. Getting overly enthused by free bathrooms and full length mirrors.

6. Discussing squatty pottie techniques.

7. A teammate punching a monk in the face and apolpgeticly hugging him.

8. Contemplating whether you can or can’t flush toilet paper.

9. Conversations about Google search history.

10. Everything involving spontaneous singing, dance parties, and taking stupid pictures.

11. Piggyback rides because crutching takes a lot of work.

These memories may be emptied from this season, but they will never be emptied from my heart. To say I was lucky to find you and get you as squad mates is the biggest understatement I can think of. The support we have for one another is something special and our bonds are undeniable. I have you all to thank for bringing me out of my shell, helping me learn new things about God, and for getting me through the World Race with the best memories and biggest smile.
