This is Lillian 🙂 aka ‘Momma Uganda’. During our last month in Uganda this strong woman of God was the one who really took care of us – she cooked for us everyday, made and packed lunches when we had to go somewhere far, washed the dishes, and wanted to have conversation with us every time we were near 🙂 She was always smiling and every time I talked to her we would end up laughing about something. She is such a blessing 😀 She would show up early morning and leave late in the night. Her goal that month was to make me fat LOL! She said she saw some progress xD She was such a blessing to us and was sad that we were leaving when we approached our last week… Right before we left I gave her a handkerchief and a hug. This trip was such an amazing journey… so much happened over those 11 months, and we have received so much love from individuals all around the world – and we have been able to love also 🙂 I am excited to go for another 9 months with a new squad of 18-20 yr olds as their squad leader, witnessing them learn and do things themselves and help them along the way, and I am excited to see them get blessed and be loved by others like Lillian and every other loving person I’ve met 🙂
