This is a church which is also our ministry site for this month πŸ™‚ I’m starting  to like it already… They take such good care of us here and the type of ministry we will be doing I am very excited about and looking forward to πŸ˜€

We have been blessed with beds to sleep on and a room with sufficient lighting and ventilation, there are bathrooms and showers to use, the pastor’s mom does our laundry for us (Free of charge – which is a first), her and a young man here would  bring me some food and tea when I was sick and always made sure I took my medication πŸ™‚ which he took me to go get at the pharmacy. The staff here are super nice and talk and joke with us all the time, and we are doing pretty good communicating in Spanish (with the help of google translate). They also feed us pretty good here (not that we hadn’t been in previous countries).

We are going to be helping out the church we are living at with teaching the kids, possibly giving messages to the congregation, street evangelism and praying for people in the hospital, and also helping out at a daughter Church. I’ve already been able to share my testimony with the kids and I can’t wait to be able to share more πŸ˜€ If the Lord permits me. So far we have swept around the church grounds, emptied and cleaned out the outside baptismal, washed some vehicles, pulled some weeds, helped clean the other church, and cared/prayed for the sick in a hospital. I am looking forward to doing all this the entire month! πŸ™‚

In Belize I think we were a bit more on edge at first (I know at least a few of us were) because it was our first country outside of home and we didn’t know what to expect, Honduras for me seemed a little hectic (living with the entire squad, getting there from Belize, and the big change in the type of ministry environment). This time it feels a bit more natural, more flowing, not so ‘strange’ – Not because of the living situation and transition into a new place, but because those things free me to focus more on the main goal. I believe it’s going to be a good month πŸ™‚
