So during the last few days of training, I learned – or rather was reminded, that I can put my blogs under different categories… so you probably already noticed that I named this category ‘Handkerchiefs’. On the left side of my blog homepage, it would be under ‘Topics’.
So during training camp in august I had 6 handkerchiefs that I had bought to give to some squad mates, because I knew it was going to be hot and probably humid. I think only one or two were given out. Before heading over here to Georgia for a few last days of training, I had bought another 13 pack of handkerchiefs because most of the countries we are going to will be hot and humid also. So i showed up expecting to give them out to my squad mates again. I think only one person took one, the same person as last time. So now I had a backpack full of unused handkerchiefs…
The Lord reminded me that I had gone into an Autozone the week before and I ended up giving an employee a handkerchief just minutes after buying the pack of 13… (or maybe it was 10, or 12, I don’t remember) This man had a pretty sweaty forehead with nothing around in sight to wipe it off, so I went to the car and got a brand new fresh handkerchief for this mans forehead. He was very appreciative 🙂 There was another stranger I met who also just happened to have a really sweaty forehead while on the job. So I gave him one also and he also was blessed 😀
So going back to these last few days of training… I was thinking about these two handkerchief recipients and the fact that I could make a new category for blogs, and thought maybe The Lord will lead me to more people throughout the world to give handkerchiefs to… and I would like to give a record of them all and how each event came about and what happened during 🙂 So that’s what this new category is dedicated to… Handkerchiefs.
