So on my other blog titled ‘So it begins…’ I mentioned how there were some delays going on – and yes, it was confusing and a little frustrating hahaha. But I am able to look back now and see why the Lord allowed that – and it’s true….
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” – Romans 8:28
In that time of waiting and even after, there are a few things that have happened.
1. God has led me to join a different route/group. I was originally signed up to go in August, but now I am going in October. The Lord used my original group to show and confirm to me how He was going to use me, and also how important and what a blessing it was to be in contact with them in different ways. But during the time of waiting He had showed me that there was a different set of locations He wanted me to go, and that though the original group was such a blessing and was for me an “ideal” group to be with – He had a different group for me that would help me to grow in ways that I could not with the original group. So I changed routes and I have been able to kind of implement what I learned from the 1st group into this new group as far as the different ways to stay in communication. On top of that I have already been able to encourage my new team members in different ways which has been such a blessing and continues to confirm to me what God already showed me 🙂 Oh the sovereignty of God! 😀
2. Also during a time of waiting and praying, God has given me a clearer idea of how to go about fundraising in different ways.
Now that I know where I am going and what to do, I really feel now that things can start moving forward. So it begins…. 🙂 please pray for me for provisions and obedience as I continue forward in whatever God leads. God bless you all! 😀 till next time…
*Side note* Some have been asking me about my fundraising deadlines and what those look like, so I decided to put them here in case anyone was curious. The first deadline is a while away, but the ones after are closer to together. Though the trip starts in October, I will have until January 31 to raise the full amount.
1 – July 20 ($5,000)
2 – Sept 21 ($10,000)
3 – Nov 30 ($13,000)
4 – Jan 31 ($18,200)
