This post is about my big bro Nate.

Nate is 18 years old and is from New York City.  He lives with his dad, mom, and sister Hailey.  His dad is a pastor of a church called “Church of the City” in New York.  He loves music and is the worship leader for our squad.  He loves to read and play cards.  His dream is to be a worship leader at his church.  When Nate gets back to the States, he and his dad are going to hike a 500 mile long trail in Spain.  Per usual I am going to talk about some of the stuff Nate has taught me.

First, Nate’s passion.  Whenever we are meeting as a team Nate always seems fired up and ready to learn something.  He is always looking for stuff that will better help his walk with Christ.  He is always encouraging the team to walk in passion and excitement about the work God is calling us into.  Secondly, Nate’s desire to grow.  I love how Nate is always eager to know and grow more.  It takes humility and hunger to have that kind of attitude.  I can learn a lot from Nate an his willingness to learn from anybody.  God uses people that are willing to set aside their pride and embrace growing, no matter how hard the lessons might be.   Finally, Nate takes being worship leader seriously.  I love how he is not lazy but sincerely wants to show people how amazing Godly worship can be.  He wants to teach and lead people in worship.  That motivates me to take seriously what God has called me into.

Nate is an amazing brother and I hope y’all can visit him in New York.  He is an awesome addition to our team.  The Race would not be the same without him.
