As our time in Cambodia is nearing its end, I have begun to reflect on how I can leave an impact with some of the locals. As I was thinking about this I had remembered that I took a whole bunch of pictures of the kids that we are helping teach English here in Battambang. I then came up with the idea of printing out some of those pictures and giving them to the kids at the school as something to hold onto. I wanted to show them that they are beautiful and are worthy of the Father’s love. That they are valued and that they are sons of God. Also, I wanted to give them pictures of themselves because most of them have most likely never received anything like that before and I wanted to show them that their smiles are cherished by all. These kids don’t have a whole lot to smile about so being able to see their reactions and amazement when they hold a picture of themselves is something that I’ll never forget.

I am going to make an effort to do this in every place we travel to during the race, so here are some of their reactions and pictures that I printed out!
