So this past week (on Tuesday) our team started our ministry here in Cambodia. Being part of the guy’s team, we were assigned to the physical labor side of things and were paired with a local church for the next few weeks.
The first 2 days were spent removing overgrowth around the church and burning it, while the rest of the week we began to paint parts of the church. The whole week our team was accompanied by Sanu (a translator and an elder of the church) along with his sister. They were very gracious all week and showed us nothing but love and hospitality as Sanu kept preaching “Safety First” and “Action” which always made us laugh and kept us going the whole week.
These past few days have been somewhat slow which makes things worse as I begin to miss home more and more. Through this, I have begun to let God take my worries away and trust him with what is to come.
When we arrived I had so many expectations of what life in Cambodia would look like, what we would eat, what we would see, and what our ministry would be. Let’s just say none of them were met. Nevertheless, God is teaching me so much about my expectations of what His plans are for me and how I should have none because what He has in store is greater than what I or anyone else can imagine.
Here are a few pictures from the week. Also, you can follow along on my Instagram where I will be posting more pictures. @samadamsphoto
(The church we are working at. It may not look like much, but it’s remarkable how little they need to worship the Father)

Wait, One Last thing!
As you can see at the top of the page, I am only a few hundred dollars away from being fully funded, so if any of you would like to support me, continue to support me, or know anyone that would like to support me, it would be greatly appreciated and help me bring kingdom to those here in Cambodia! Love you all!
