Well folks, heres a recap of the past week or so…

 

So the trip started off by all of us convening at the Hilton in Atlanta for Launch this past Sunday. There, we got together as a squad and prepared to embark on this journey of a lifetime along with 5 other squads who are going on routes of their own. 

 

While we were there, our squad continued to get closer and closer, bonding over meals in our hotel rooms, walks to waffle house, and games of spicy uno. It truly felt like we picked up where we left off after training camp in July. After about 3 days in Atlanta, it was finally time for us to leave and begin our journey to the other side of the world (literally). After layovers in San Francisco and Guangzhou, China we finally arrived in Siem Reap. Upon arriving in Siem Reap, we took a 3-hour bus to Battambang, Cambodia. We then arrived at this peaceful neighborhood in Battambang outside of the city where we settled in for the next month.
