Hey everyone!

Today I am writing my first official blog post about something I believe everyone struggles with at one point or another throughout a life time. That would be, BAGGAGE. I know, I know, it can be a touchy subject, but it is something that is veryyy important for our future. Now to begin I would like to state something everyone should be aware of; To receive the new we have to let go of the old. We ALL fall short of the Glory of God, and the Devil rejoices in our failures, yet the reckless and endless love and mercy of God is showered onto us over and over again and brings us back to righteousness. Baggage is dangerous and it is only around because the Devil uses it to get to us. It is like we are carrying hell in our back pocket while we are trying to walk out the Lords plan. We at some point have to LET GO and LET GOD. Make sure what you are doing is not just for God but also from God. We get these two confused by our own mindsets, without God we have no power but with God his plan will be fulfilled through his mighty and righteous ways. Sometimes we are stuck in a vision of what our lives “should be like” and we loose sight of what God’s actual plan is for us. The word of God is still very much alive and if we press in a little deeper and a little longer we could hit a new understanding far beyond our reach. If the word was not important he would not have given it to us and that is something not to be forgotten. If you find yourself not growing with God you have to figure out what the root problem is and give it up to him. Most of the time that problem stems from our baggage. We sometimes carry this guilt and sin for so long we build this wall between us and God, and let me tell you, he is trying to knock it down but we are the ones holding it up. One of the most amazing stories in the Bible that relates to this is the Lord leaving the 99 sheep to find the one lost. It amazes me how once that one is found the Lord and all the angels rejoice. No matter how far we run, no matter how high we build up that wall, no matter how far from grace we feel, the Lord rejoices in our return. So be encouraged, He never leaves the one behind…
