First of all, I’m finally in Nicaragua!
My squad and I left Ethiopia on March 1st. We then had an event called an Awakening, where we got to meet and hang out with a few other squads for a couple of days. That took place in Costa Rica, and afterwards we were immediately off to Nicaragua. We arrived March 6th.
Secondly, I wanted to apologize.
At the beginning of the Race I signed a contract stating, among a few other things, that I would post a blog weekly. Clearly that has not been my commitment level as of late. There was the issue in Ethiopia of little to no internet connection, but it definitely would’ve been possible. So to my leadership team, I’m sorry. I promise I will follow through on my commitment. And to my friends and family at home, I’m also sorry. I promise I’ll make sure to keep you all updated on me from now on.
