This last week was PVT (parent vision trip). Which means my parents came and lived life with me. It was such a great week.

Being reunited with these people that I love and have missed so deeply was a dream. It was so weird to have my parents here with me but at the same time it felt so normal. We did ministry together which was so fun to just see my parents do the same thing next to me. We got to go on fun adventures with all my friends and there parents. I loved it all.

A lot of people have a hard time with PVT with missed expectation or parents bringing up touchy subjects but honesty my time with my parents was even better then I expected. It was really life giving and encouraging to me (especially when they told me I was the favorite). They got to give me new insight and perspective with the things I was learning and working on. They just were a fresh breath it was so nice.

One of my favorite moments of PVT was a worship night we had. We have done a couple healing nights as a squad (read healing from fear for more insight). I was really excited to have this with the parents because they come from such different backgrounds with even some non believers with us. We shared some testimonies and then just went for it. A lot of my squad mates were a little uneasy about this but I knew God was going to do big things.

We started worshiping and praying and after the first person asked for prayer it did not stop. The racers all started in the middle and the parents were on the edge of the circle. My favorite part was watching parents come closer to pray for people and get get prayer. It was one of the coolest moments of my life because I could visibly see the Holy Spirit move. Got to pray for my mom and her chronic neck pain and in Jesus name she is healed. My dad got prayed over with a push for more. It was beyond any expectations I had. People got wrecked!

We ended the night by praying for healing as families and that was so beautiful to cry in each other’s arms just as we received new freedom from the Lord.

Later in the week my dad got hurt and one of the first things that was said by all the parents was “let’s have another healing circle”. Jesus did amazing things and changed lives forever.

Thank you so much mom and dad for sacrificing your time and money to come live life with me. I loved every second of it and can’t wait to see you soon!
