Goodbye to my teammates and saying hello to a new team. With mixed emotions a walk into this. These past four months I have been able to live and grow with 6 awesome individuals that have walked with me and propelled me to growth. We have had hard conversations, have allowed one another into our lives , and intentionally pursued one another. We have bared our scares to one another and have found a family with one another. These are some things that I have learned from these awesome and one of a kind individuals.
Connor has taught me to walk into change and knowledge with open arms embracing what it is that is coming in. He is genuine and humble. The team’s leader who is easy to follow not because of his strengths but because of his weaknesses. He learns from all around him and invites others into his leadership making it a partnership. A man that inspires creativity that reflects hat of the Fathers.
Jezie has been a constant reminder to voice and defend the minority and a comfort within out team. Walking into everyday and situation with a never ending Joy she exhibits this quality with ease. The only time that I have seen her get upset was when there was some form of injustice taking place. A Latina with the power to change, inspire, and edify.
Wesley will always give whatever the task at hand 100%. Regardless if its manual labor, pouring into others, or sharing the gospel he will make sure he gives it his all. With a heart for restoration of couples he has been a blessing to multiple people in every country that we have entered. Wesley is a man who loves wholeheartedly and gives away his best to those who are in need.
Maggie will pull out who you are in all the best ways possible. She will challenge and confront but is also a wildflower free to be herself and brings others along to experience that with her. A woman with big plans many talents she has taught me about healthy balance, to not fear to ask questions, and to constantly die to self.
Daniel is a chill dude. Because he’s lived life he knows what it looks like to walk with the Father day in and day out. He is quiet but powerful speaking only when felt prompted to. With a hunger for adventure and the world around him Daniel has taught me to live life a day at a time. Also to live life with a kingdom mindset.
Kaylin is a nurturer at heart but to limit her to that or anything else would make you look stupid. A hunger for knowledge, justice, worship, nature, art, her family (who is really awesome and kind) etc. She seeks out the Fathers heart in all she does. Like a lion she goes forward learning and growing. What Kaylin has taught me is to never stop learning.
Adiós a mis compañeros y saludos a un nuevo equipo. Con emociones mezcladas un paseo en esto. Estos últimos cuatro meses he podido vivir y crecer con 6 personas increíbles que han caminado conmigo y me han impulsado al crecimiento. Hemos tenido conversaciones difíciles, nos hemos permitido entrar en nuestras vidas y nos hemos perseguido intencionalmente. Nos hemos descubierto nuestros miedos y hemos encontrado una familia entre nosotros. Estas son algunas de las cosas que he aprendido de estas increíbles y únicas personas.
Connor me ha enseñado a caminar hacia el cambio y el conocimiento con los brazos abiertos, abrazando qué es lo que está entrando. Es genuino y humilde. El líder del equipo, que es fácil de seguir, no por sus fortalezas sino por sus debilidades. Aprende de todos los que lo rodean e invita a otros a su liderazgo para que sea una asociación. Un hombre que inspira creatividad que refleja el sombrero de los Padres.
Jezie ha sido un recordatorio constante para expresar y defender a la minoría y un consuelo dentro de nuestro equipo. Al entrar en la vida cotidiana y la situación con una alegría sin fin, ella exhibe esta calidad con facilidad. La única vez que la he visto enojarse fue cuando se produjo algún tipo de injusticia. Una latina con el poder de cambiar, inspirar y edificar.
Wesley siempre dará lo que sea la tarea a mano 100%. Independientemente de si se trata de un trabajo manual, derramándose en otros o compartiendo el evangelio, se asegurará de que lo dé todo. Con un corazón para la restauración de las parejas, ha sido una bendición para muchas personas en todos los países en los que hemos ingresado. Wesley es un hombre que ama de todo corazón y regala lo mejor a quienes lo necesitan.
Maggie sacará quién eres de las mejores maneras posibles. Ella desafiará y enfrentará, pero también es una flor silvestre que puede ser ella misma y lleva a otros a experimentar eso con ella. Una mujer con grandes planes, muchos talentos que me enseñó sobre el equilibrio saludable, a no tener miedo de hacer preguntas y a morir constantemente a sí mismo.
Daniel es un tipo frío. Debido a que él vive la vida, él sabe lo que es caminar con el Padre día tras día. Él es callado pero poderoso al hablar solo cuando se le pide que lo haga. Con un hambre de aventura y el mundo que lo rodea, Daniel me ha enseñado a vivir la vida un día a la vez. También para vivir la vida con una mentalidad de reino.
Kaylin es una cuidadora de corazón, pero limitarla a eso o cualquier otra cosa te haría ver estúpido. Hambre de conocimiento, justicia, adoración, naturaleza, arte, su familia (que es realmente increíble y amable), etc. Ella busca el corazón del Padre en todo lo que hace. Como un león ella avanza aprendiendo y creciendo. Lo que Kaylin me ha enseñado es nunca dejar de aprender.
