This won’t resonate with everyone, and thats okay, but pray for those who need it.

God is real.. so why do we struggle in any moment. The creator of the entire universe is above our minds, and fueling our every breath. What more is there? What causes us to believe that God is present in one area of our life, but to completely disregard him in another.

As followers, we have a trend. Brief devotion, countered by phases of rebellion. I mean, even the Israelites questioned God, yet he was so coherently speaking into each of them.

I’ve fallen victim to this upsetting trend many times.

Luckily this is the character of man, not the character of God. If there is one aspect of God i’ve noticed in my life, and others that i’ve talked with, it’s that he is always there in our last moment, and our last cry for help. As we fall for the last time, he picks our frail spirit up and renews us with the joy of his holy one. It’s not easy on the flesh, but how are we to change without pressure? He conditions us to a breaking point, and in that, true strength is inherited. Like a muscle, through exhaustion, we can recover and be rebuilt stronger than we were before. Our mountainous problems tower over us, and they leave us in these valleys seemingly far from his light. But our God moves mountains!

Matthew 17:20 He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.

It kind of sucks to be in the valley, but this is where we are taught and broken.

and through brokenness, comes life

But really, For example, in my life, God took away all that I loved, I lost my identity, my girlfriend, my friends, hockey, and the ability to look at a screen for more than a few minutes without getting a headache (I’m good now tho). However, through all that I lost, I learned i didn’t need it. It was nothing compared to him. He wants us, and he’s not afraid to send us through seasons of tribulation in order to transform our hearts. He is good. (In all, not just what we choose to acknowledge)

Don’t forget all that God has done for you. His actions are in us, and that is the true blessing; not just what is tangible. He will keep all of his promises, there is no grey and white, he is real, alive, with, and in you.
