Hello lovely people! Welcome to my WORLD RACE Page!!!
My name is Morgan Feldt. I am 21 years old and a current junior at the University of South Alabama majoring in communication studies. I’m the daughter to five parents, and the oldest sibling to three of the best sisters in the whole world. (yeah, you read that correctly…five parents.) The way I see it, I just have more people to love me, and I’d count that as an incredible blessing.
Three years ago, I moved to Mobile, Alabama from my hometown of Bushnell, Florida to run track and cross country at USA, but I am realizing that there were much bigger things in store for me to discover. After two years of running, I decided it was time to turn a new page in my life. It wasn’t an easy decision but it was the best decision.
I have such a huge appreciation for my church college group that has supported, encouraged, and challenged me every step. Mars Hill Church has given me some of the best friendships, most of which were made either around a prayer circle or over a punny joke.
On a given day, you can find me sporting my “team Jesus” sweatshirt, staying up until all hours of the night, or eating a bag of salt and vinegar chips. Upon starting college, I had no idea what enlightened in me my true joy, but now I feel as if I have discovered my niche of calling. My favorite thing to do is meet people where they are and learn about where they come from. I find there is true beauty behind learning someone’s story, encouraging a friend to discover their value and purpose, and sharing a connection with a stranger. You’ll quickly learn my passion for children is out of this world; I find myself in admiration of their childlike faith and contagious laughter. In comes at little surprise that at any moment you can find me hanging at the Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, serving at Light of the Village, or taking a friend out for coffee.
