First things first: Know your countries and be mindful of the seasons.
Do research on where you’re going and WHAT MONTH you’ll be there so you can know how to pack.
For example, my route is going to very warm countries during their spring and summer months. So lots of rain, humidity, and heat. Because of this, I’m not taking a sleeping bag, I’m just using a sleeping bag liner and small blanket.
Although you don’t know if you’ll need it, most people take a tent just in case. It takes up a decent amount of room, but I packed mine. (Maybe I’ll end up getting rid of it halfway through. Who knows.)

There are certain things you might want to pack extra of, because they’re hard to find overseas. I packed extra stick deodorant of a brand I use here at home and extra sunblock for my pasty white skin that won’t handle the equator well.

SO HERE’S A LOOK AT WHAT IM TAKING AROUND THE WORLD FOR 11 MONTHS!

I’m sure I forgot something. But I also know that it’s totslly possible that I will get rid of / add items throughout the year!! This stuff is hard to prep for, and honestly you can’t. Be fully prepared. You don’t know if youll need certain items and you have to be flexible! But also remember that things can be picked up! There are stores overseas.

Thanks so much for reading!! I can’t wait to get started. Thank you so much for all of your guys’ support — we’ve reached $10,000 finally!!!! IM CRYING.

If you want to donate to my trip, go back to the homepage of this site and hit the orange Donate button!! TOGETHER WE CAN GET TO THAT $18,200 number!!

Also the best way to keep up with my trip is through THIS BLOG, Facebook, and Instagram. I’m working on a podcast. More to come.
