On the road again….
I just can’t wait to get on the road again
Well, my friends, the time has come again. Today we said our last goodbyes to people in Serbia. Tomorrow, we will say our hellos to Living Hope church in Romania!
People love to ask me which country has been my favorite, or which has been the hardest to leave. I can’t pick a favorite because each country and the relationships I make are so different.
But each time I say goodbye my heart is sad. I know a part of it is that I start getting familiar with the schedule, the city and people.
But more, I feel like I just begin to connect deeper with people and then we leave. I don’t want to write this and sound negative. I am so blessed and excited for the countries and people I have met and will meet. But I do want to acknowledge that goodbyes are hard. Change is hard.
Yet, in all of these transitions, God is so faithful. When I look to the cross, His love quiets my soul. He calls me deeper in each new place and is constantly holding my right hand.
And it’s so exciting to see what God does in each short month. This month He taught me more about boldness and opening my heart to dreams. And now new lessons and experiences awaits!
