God is so cool!!
I have been speaking truth over myself. Last month in Albania, I made myself a poster with verses on it declaring who I am in Christ. Here’s a couple:
From 2 Timothy 1:7 – I am not ruled by fear but the Holy Spirit gives me his power, his love and his self control. From Luke 10: 17-19 – I have received the power of the Holy Spirit and He can do miraculous things through me. I have authority and power over the enemy in this world.
Today during quiet time, God reminded me of the story of Zaccheaus. Zaccheaus ran ahead of the crowd to see Jesus. He was not afraid of what others would think and he didn’t use the excuse of the crowd. He ran and climbed. It took effort and humility to see Jesus. And Jesus reaches out to him and he was changed.
Tonight, I stepped out from fear. I chose to believe that God would do miraculous things through me. My teammate was experiencing pain and we decided to pray. Through our prayers, the pain was gone!!
I had been struggling with believing that God could do miraculous things through me. Yet, even with my little faith God moved and God healed!
A song came to mind from Kari Jobe:
The One who made the deaf to hear
Is silencing my every fear
Silencing my every fear
I believe in You
I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles
I believe in You
I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles
Thank you God for being a God of miracles!! Thank you Father for loving me and inviting me in your story. Thank You, Jesus that your name is the Name above all names! Thank you Holy Spirit for working Your power through me.
Amen and amen!
