What are 5 simple joys from this week?
- We had the perfect rainy day meal! Yesterday, we were invited to an American couple’s apartment for lunch. It was chicken chili with sour cream, cheddar cheese and tortilla chips, fresh fruit and dessert. Also they encouraged us with the Word, they are so sweet.
- During quiet times, I started listening to Kari Jobe’s album, In the Garden. I highly recommend.
- I didn’t realize how much I have missed playing games with the fam till this week. But we have played several already including a potato relay. Lol
- Warm blankets and heaters
- Watching National Treasure with Becca 🙂
What has God been teaching me this week?
Persistence. He is big enough for my questions, fears and doubts. And He’s not disappointed, but continues to love me right where I am. I just got to keep going to Him and laying it down.
