Tonight made me think about youth group at home.

I hope you all are reading this because I love and miss you all!

Tonight we had a Nutella party with the students we had been meeting with this month.  We made Nutella brownies and served Nutella with bananas, oranges and apples.  Hannah made Nutella cappuccinos.

It was such fun.  I talked with several groups of students, a student’s mom and an Italian friend.  As a group, we played a game called “When the wind blows”.  It is a circle game where one person in the middle calls out something and then if it’s true for you, you must find a new chair or be the next caller.   I’ve played similar games before and it’s always a fun one.

Then we talked about our dreams.  And Meagan shared a bit of her testimony.  I think overall we felt like it was a successful evening.  People came (I heard 21 Albanians!) connections were made, conversations happened and the gospel was presented.

It felt like youth group and again reminded me how much I loved helping with that group.

So to OCC youth group: tonight’s message was to look up from your obstacles and struggles and call out to your Maker.  God wants to rescue you from the darkness.  He wants a relationship with you. Call out to Him and spend time with Him.  He will meet you wherever and whenever you cry out to Him. “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.”  Dig deeper into who God is and find freedom!

2 Corinthians 3:17

Love you all!

PS. Hug Evan and Chelsea for me when you see them next! ??
