Hello framily!
Tuesday I hosted an English Club. In Vietnam, lots of young adults are determined to learn English. It’s important to be fluent in English for find better paying jobs. So, many come to Vision Cafe for the chance to practice their English with native speakers and to make friends with Americans. ??
As the host, I decided to talk about happiness. I found quotes, scientific research and questions all describing the concept of happiness. As I listened to the students, I realized so many people equate happiness with success and financial prosperity. It’s not just in the USA, that people are striving, searching and pursuing this overall life satisfaction. They’re seeking a better life.
I pray that those conversations opened minds to keep seeking the True source of happiness.
Later, we all hopped on backs of motorbikes to eat Vietnamese pancakes and avocado ice cream! Pancakes are a little different here with a rice flour batter, shrimp and a peanut sauce. But I must say trying new food with friends makes me happy!
I pray you, my dear framily, will find happiness. I pray you find it in the simple joys of life – like when a native Vietnamese tries to teach you her language and you say it right for once! But more importantly, I pray you find happiness in Our Creator.
Love you!
