My dear friends,
As many of you know for over 20 years now I’ve have worked hard to overcome my struggles with sexual immorality. I felt like I had no one and no where to turn to. These hot topic issues are ones that most pastors are afraid to discuss and give guidance on. I can’t tell you how many I went to that just ended up trying to get me to go to this website or another, when all I really needed was someone to understand and tell me that they love me, they are praying for me and will be there for me as I was seeking God and His healing.
We have become a society that wants to spout truths, but forget about love. Jesus loved all even those that persecuted Him. It is through His love that we are the biggest witness to the world. We can still hold to our convictions.
Then this Sunday my pastor Zach Gryder of Highridge Church of Graham; preached on “Designed Sexuality” and it was the most honest and loving sermon I’ve ever heard on this subject and I have watched a ton of them on Youtube.
I challenge you to watch this sermon and reflect on it. It isn’t just about sexual immorality but how to love anyone through their sin. For as you will remember from Romans 3:23 “For ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
