Nepal, oh the outward beauty is unreal. Every building painted bright reds, oranges, yellows and blues. The beautiful garbs and gold jewelry I see people wear. The excitement of the city and markets and the traditional music I hear. Yet there is such a heaviness on my chest and such a sadness I feel in my soul. As I visited a monkey temple in Kathmandu i was intrigued by the monkeys and gold statues. Yet I saw people spend countless hours putting their whole lives at the hands of something that wouldn’t be able to fulfill them nor bring them any happiness. Thankfully Nepal has people like our hosts, specifically Gresom and Papa. These are true men of God. They work day in and day out spreading the good news, light and love of God. They have taught me so much. You can’t give up on those people who keep denying the love of God. Sometimes you have to get up and climb a mountain for hours to reach that church with only seven believers because thats being obedient to our father. That there is such much beauty in the struggle because what God has for us in the long run is SO much bigger. These believers courage and faith here is so undefeatable and I know Gods light in them will never go out. GOD IS WORKING IN NEPAL! Hallelujah!
